          MICROTIMESTAMP Data Type  Micro-Second Time Stamps allow you to store and retrieve the occurrence of real-time system events down to a millionth of a second. The MICROTIMESTAMP data type stores TIME plus microseconds information. MICROTIMESTAMP attributes are specified as: attr MICROTIMESTAMP [(type)] The type is the same as for TIME attributes (i.e. a number from 0 to 8), and specifies the format in which the date part will be printed. If the type is omitted, it defaults to 0. This data type stores information regarding date and time including the number of microseconds which may range from January 1, 0000 00:00:00.000000 to December 31, 9999 23:59:59.999999 where the last 6 digits in the format represent the number of microseconds.
