Markham, Ontario, Canada (December 1, 1995) -- Empress Software, Inc., announced today the availability of EMPRESS CONNECTIVITY™ V2.0, an ODBC interface which allows Microsoft Windows or UNIX users to easily and quickly access data from any EMPRESS database. EMPRESS CONNECTIVITY™ includes both a UNIX server product and a client driver. The EMPRESS CONNECTIVITY™ client driver runs on all popular UNIX platforms as well as any Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups, Windows 95 or Intel Windows NT platform. The EMPRESS CONNECTIVITY™ server product runs on all popular UNIX platforms.

EMPRESS CONNECTIVITY™ adheres to industry standards to ensure simplified development, software compatibility, and ease of use. Through the many ODBC enabled programs, users can have seamless access to EMPRESS RDBMS data residing on UNIX platforms anywhere on a TCP/IP network.
