EMPRESS RDBMS Now Available for 64-bit HP-UX® on Itanium 2

Beltsville, MD, September 9, 2003 - Empress Software announces availability of the EMPRESS Embedded RDBMS V8.62 on Hewlett-Packard systems that use Intel Itanium 2 processors and the 64-bit HP-UX 11 operating system. The EMPRESS Embedded RDBMS running on 64-bit HP-UX provides database development tools and runtime environments to HP customers for cross platform application development on 32-bit and 64-bit HP-UX, as well as other UNIX, Linux, Windows and real-time platforms. EMPRESS RDBMS can be deployed on HP-UX Itanium 2 entry-level workstations as well as advanced HP-UX Itanium 2 64-bit multi-processor servers.
